Mr. Lee is a partner in the firm whose practice covers all areas of intellectual property, primarily in litigation. He has represented clients before the Federal Court of Canada, and the British Columbia Supreme Court. Although his practice is primarily related to litigation, Mr. Lee also has extensive involvement with both domestic and foreign patent, design and trademark filings and prosecution. As part of his practice, Mr. Lee is responsible for co-ordinating many of his client’s international patent and trademark portfolios and licensing concerns. Mr. Lee is also an adjunct professor for the University of British Columbia, Sauder School of Business’ graduate course in Intellectual Property and Business Strategy.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Lee was General Counsel (Intellectual Property) for one of Canada’s leading suppliers of home improvement products where he was responsible for coordinating the company’s extensive intellectual property portfolio and related litigation.

Mr. Lee obtained a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Alberta, a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Victoria and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Victoria. He is a practicing lawyer before the British Columbia Bar, an Affiliate of the Intellectual Property Institute of Canada (IPIC) and is a registered Canadian patent and trademark agent.
